The town has taken the following steps to help manage the expected traffic on Eclipse Day.  No one knows exactly what the weather will be, or how many people will pass through Keene or stop to view the eclipse here, so we have tried to prepare as fully as possible.

  1. You can pick up free Eclipse Viewing glasses at the town hall.
  2. Marcy Field is our public viewing area.  Parking will be in the hiker parking lot off Airport Rd. Parking for people with limited mobility will be at the Holt House.  We will have glasses available here as well.
  3. The Town Hall and Transfer Station will be CLOSED on Monday April 8.  The gate will be locked at the entrance to the Transfer Station.
