Boil Water Order between Beede and Holt Roads

There is a water main repair underway in Keene Valley and it affects residents in the area between Beede Road and Holt Road only. Homes in the section between Beede Road and Holt Road will need to boil water until we complete the repair and then get positive lab results. This will probably continue through Monday afternoon and we will notify you as soon as the boil water order is lifted.

Marcy Field Recreation Access

The new parking lot to access the oval is done! Also, the portion of the walking trail along the perimeter of the field that floods has been improved. This project has been completed with the support of the town board, help from Scott Smith and the Highway Department, and the planning efforts of Marcy Neville, Peter Slocum, and the Recreation planning committee. New Bridges on Old Mountain Road

Thanks to the Ausable River Association, Barkeater Trails Alliance, and Vinny McClelland for designing, building, and funding the replacement of three culverts on the Old Mountain Road with new bridges. ASRA did the permitting and design, BETA constructed the bridges, and Vinny secured a grant from Patagonia while he was at the Mountaineer to pay for the upgrades.
