Marcy field is available for weddings, craft fairs, farmers markets, and nonprofit events.

Point Park
Located in Keene Valley near the Laight Hall Bridge.
Community Center Playground
Located on Church St. in Keene. There is also a pavilion down below that may be reserved by contacting the Town Clerk at 518-576-4444.
Keene Community Garden
The Keene Community Garden is located near the Holt House on Marcy Field. The garden contains approximately 35 plots within a fenced enclosure accessible from Route 73. Garden space and water are provided by the Town of Keene. Individual gardeners are responsible for maintaining their respective plot(s), removing and disposing of their garden debris off site, and occasionally helping with common garden tasks such as fence and path maintenance. The garden is organic by mutual consent, and only pesticides and fertilizers approved for organic gardening are allowed. Gardeners may grow vegetables, flowers, etc., for their own use. The growing season and water availability are dependent on the weather, but usually run from roughly May through September.
Annual dues are $10 per plot. Plot owners have the right of first refusal for the same plot(s) in the following year. For information about joining, contact Tamra Mooney at tamramooney@gmail.com.
Jay Picnic Area
Located on Route 9N at the Keene/Jay town line. A covered pavilion with picnic tables is located here (seasonally port a-john.) Use is on a first come first serve basis – no reservations are taken.
Ice Skating Rink

Keene, NY 12942Skates are available for free of charge at the warming hut on a first come first service basis. Skate sizes vary.When the warming hut is closed you may use the lights that are on a timer which are located on the side of the building.
